Job Title:
Laboratory Scientist III (1 post)
(a)
Qualifications and
Experience:
Should
possess BSc. in Applied Zoology or its equivalent from a recognized
institution.
(b)
Main Duties:
·
Organizes practicals for undergraduate
students;
·
Participates in consultancy projects under
close supervision of senior staff;
·
Assists
academic staff in their research and development activities;
·
Plans and supervises maintenance of laboratory/workshop
facilities;
·
Guides technicians and artisans in their
daily activities; and
·
Performs any other duties that may be
assigned to her/him from time to time.

Job Title:
Laboratory Technician III (1 post):
College of Agricultural Sciences and
Fisheries Technology Department: Department of
Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Technology
(a)
Qualifications and
Experience:
Should possess FTC/ Diploma/ NTA Level 6 in Aquaculture with a least
four years relevant work experience.
(b)
Main Duties:
·
Carries out specified tasks connected with
research, laboratory practical, students' projects, consultancy and services
under close supervision;
·
Assists in the repair and maintenance of laboratory
or workshop facilities;
·
Assists senior staff in relevant fields of
operation; and
·
Performs any other duties as may be assigned
from time to time by his/her senior.

i. Technician IV (Laboratory) –Electronicsand
Telecommunications Engineering(1 post); Applicants should possess FTC/Diploma/NTA
Level 6 in Electronics from a

College of Engineering and Technology (CoET)
i. Technician IV (Laboratory) - Chemical &
Processing Engineering (1 post);Applicants should possess an FTC/ Diploma/
NTA Level 6 in Chemical Laboratory
Technology from a recognized institution.
College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CoNAS)
i.
Technician
IV (Laboratory)– Central Science Workshop (1 post); Applicantsshould
possess FTC/Diploma/NTA Level 6 in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
from a recognized institution.
(b)
Main Duties:
· Carries out

Department: Creative Arts
(a)
Qualifications and
Experience:
Applicants should
possess a Bachelor degree (with upper second class) or equivalent in Film and
Televisionor related field from a recognized institution.
(b)
Main Duties:
·
Takes charge of studio work in the relevant field
of specialization;
·
Assists Senior Studio Instructors in their
duties;
·
Performs any other duties as assigned by one’s
reporting officer.
